This might be of some relevance to both the new medium tank the the new IFV that shares the same chassis.

A recently published paper on simulations of temperature environment inside a certain armored vehicle. Illustrations show a three-person crew compartment.

I still wonder what the cans(?) or cylinders are, they seem extendable but are caged over?
Perhaps, at least one is a ventilation port of some form? After firing the main cannon there will be some backdraft of gases and particulates when expelling the shell, I guess you wouldn’t want that to build up in machinery and mechanisms.

I am wonder if they are related to the autoloader. There is no back re-fill door like type-15 for the autoloader. Thb Idk what autoloader thi one uses.

And the similar little cage can/sometime with caps maybe just a cap. Just a guess. and another cylinder maybe just the China version GPS Beidou system atena.

Seriously doubt optics are obscured by barrel flash and dust for that long, especially if the tank is moving.
Depends on ground conditions. Can be almost nil on wet paved road, can be dozens of seconds.
Overall, a major reason to avoid muzzle brake.
