There looks like a trapdoor here that could be used to close off the intake. If this is true, it would allow cruising with just one engine in the back.

It has a 2-wheel main landing gear bogie. That suggests an aircraft of considerable size. Are we sure this is a fighter and not actually the new long rumoured H-20 bomber?

Would Shenyang's project then be the next fighter jet in line for both the PLAAF and PLAN? Especially if CAC's project is confirmed to have side-by-side seating.
