Next gen fighter jet upcoming in great power competition: J-20 chief designer
Russians are setting up the Su-57 as optionally-manned, the Americans have strong sensor fusion in the F-35, etc.AI Assisted..Interesting
Surprisingly transparent. China will be flying this before India's AMCA investor scam project makes its way into a "finalised" plastic 1:10 model.
Decades ago it was "China can't build the J-10" to "the J-10 can't take off" to "the J-10 is all photoshopped fake" to "the J-10 is a copy of Lavi" (yes a copy of a half finished prototype lol that's still impressive even if totally true). Now all the trolls have is "50 cent army!" and "well it's Chinese quality!". The butthurt is strong. Turns out the real loser who couldn't build a fighter was and is India all along, shock horror!
Mighty Tejas with a whopping 10 or so in service after YEARS of LRIP. I reckon PLAAF 6th gen will be in flight tests while the Tejas is getting MK2 upgrades.
India doesn't matter. The Indians are mellowing out and wiser voices are telling me:
1- They expect the US to collapse and become irrelevant; I've had to tell them the USAF and USN are still surprisingly potent until budget cuts go in.
2- Chinese economic cooperation is indispensible if they want to be something other than a third-world country.
He's bashing the AMCA F-22 clone. I'm saying don't bash because it's effectively child abuse; it's known what Indian procurement capabilities and development capabilities are, it's bad, and it doesn't make China look better by comparison. What does this have to do with a 6th gen fighter from China?
More conceptual research into 6th-gen configurations. Rear fuselage design for stable tail-less supersonic flight.
