On the third picture, there are small black objects that are shooting outwards from the barrel, all spread out. Could this be from a sabot round?

BEIJING, Mar. 15 -- Following the consensus reached by the militaries of China, Iran and Russia, the navies of the three countries will hold the Security Belt-2023 joint maritime exercise in the Gulf of Oman from March 15 to 19, according to a news release from China's Ministry of National Defense on Wednesday.
The Security Belt-2023 exercise is developed from the two joint maritime exercises held by the three countries in 2019 and 2022.
The Chinese military dispatches the guided-missile destroyer Nanning to participate in the exercise on such subjects as aerial search, maritime rescue, ship parade and others.
The Security Belt-2023 exercise will facilitate the deepening of the practical cooperation among the navies of the participating countries, further demonstrate their willingness and ability to jointly protect maritime security, actively build a maritime community with a shared future, and inject a positive momentum to the regional peace and stability.

Sometime between March 8 and March 13, the smaller dry dock in Sanya was filled. This same dry dock housed a Yuan-class submarine recently. Could this indicate a possible relaunch of the submarine, or was the submarine already launched earlier?

Al has been A Part of Naval design for two decades now. It's Part of A portfolio
Of Optimization techniques that includes linear regression and genetic algorithms among others.

I have decades of experience in programming and computer science. Recently I have taken some basic training/studying of AI in my company's push for awareness of new tech trend. My conclusion is that AI in today's usage is just a re-packaging of programming, there is no fundamental difference from classic programming but only improvement in algorithm. The improvement work is always there. In other words, AI was always there many many years ago before it was called "AI".

To be more critical, there is no Artificial Intelligence because true intelligence can not be man-made, anything artificial is programming (pre-determined reaction to known input). Even machine-learning is just a fancy way of data collection (known input) which was there long ago. AI in science fiction is like flying by pulling one's hair.

AI in commercial company's mind is like advertisement, in military's mind is to demand money and scare enemies.
