Looking back at the video, I now notice the VT-4A1 has complete ERA coverage on the front hull compared to last time where the space was taken up by the headlights. It also has a front camera now. The VN-20(?) behind the VT-4A1 has a different front design compared to the current one.

The later in the 1990’s the Chinese NORINCO company adopted a new 100mm APFSDS round for export for the Rifled Gun. It’s called “DTW2-100” and I have very strong suspicion that it is license produced M1000A1.

It seems like it was a very common round used in the Syrian Civil War (which also spilled over into Iraq) and even ISIS was able to get their hands on that ammunition.

The reason I suspect it to be license produced M1000A1 is because DTW2-100 also appeared in the 1990’s just like M1000A1 and the design overall looks identical with few visual differences in terms of the colour used.
M1000A1 is rated to penetrate;
190mm @ 2000m at 60 °

DTW2-100 is rated to penetrate;
150mm @ 2400m at 65 °
Which translates to;
~171mm @ 2400m at 60 °

It certainly looks like it would also be able to do 190mm @ 1000m at 60 °
