Some of the videos are from firefighting demo using fire extinguishing ammo.
Interesting thread about PPEs being used in certain armies. PLA gear is comparable with western militaries showing that PLA is serious about personal protection for their soldiers (Debunks the myth that PLA soldiers are some sort of conscript cannon fodder with archaic gear). Though, other Asian nations are a bit lacking in that department. Of course, since he pointed that out, there are some angry comments from the usual suspects lol
It says PLA artillery don't carry rifles but I thought they did? How accurate is this post?
Funnily the US army one is only wearing noise cancelling ear protection, no comms. From my experience, soldiers often end up buying their own PPE and some might have more advanced headsets with comms, but they are bought on a personal level. The JSDF guy is probably not even wearing a plate carrier, but a frag vest.
I am almost 100% Chinese artillery soldiers are issued rifles. Plenty of pictures show PLA soldiers manning guns with their rifle slung over their shoulders. That analysis definitively feels cartoonish and based on a few handpicked images.

I think the overall conclusion of the PLA issuing better gear is true though, but like you said, the way he got to that conclusion from those pictures isn't all that good.
Although I think he likely also bases it off from other pictures, but just didn't include them in that post.
I would consider the post low effort. PLA artilleryman do have issued rifles which as far as I'm aware are stowed in the support vehicles until needed. As for the tweet, in oversimplifying its presentation it fails to accurately present a comprehensive picture of each nation's issuance to artillery personnel. They should probably take notes from Battle Order and revise how they present both written and visual information when it comes to comparing different nations formations/equipment.
