The Laotian helmetThey don't seem to he carrying plates. Neither do they have optics. Those two are the main force multipliers for modern infantry. I would rather have them equipped with the Laotian gear if that meant having plates and optics.

- Type 15 modular MICH (type) helmet
- Type 19 ICS vest / plate carrier
- Type 21 summer combat uniform
Equipment of Laotian infantry:
- Soviet / Chinese AKM / Type-56 rifle (produced in the 1950s)
- Vietnamese K-07 Woodland uniform (Made from local cloth fabric)
- Vietnamese A2 helmet (Made from Polyamide Plastic, not bulletproof)
- Chinese Type-63 combat chest rig (Used by the PLA in the 60s / 70s)
