From 0:15 they show how the ROWS is operated. Somehow still using the hand-cranked wheel for elevation and traverse... I guess it works, but it's still kind of a letdown... the cost-cutting measure is strong with this one.

I expected automatic, like a modern tank gun. Just aim and the system do the rest. Do Western ROWS have this feature?
If you mean stabilized and auto lead based on computed target speed, I believe at least some Western ROWS have this feature. Based on the video however, the Mengshi ROWS doesn't seem to have those features, probably as a cost-cutting measure.
