Having seen some sat image, this thing (HQ-8? massive vehicle and 2 long tubes of 9m) could already be in service in a ETC SAM bgd.
In this case, the problems are - How do you know (for sure) that this TEL-based SAM:
1. Is named HQ-8?
2. Is actually the 2000+-kilometer ULRSAM described in the past academic papers?
Especially considering that the noted time of observation of that TEL is sometime in the early-2010s, at the earliest.
