I was under the impression that the FK3000 in PLA service was just a revised canister design, with some visible cross lines at the front indicative of quad packing.
What is the platform that carries the 12 canister setup in the first picture?
Edit:
So, going back at the Zhuhai 2024 thread, we can see two things
First is the FK-3000 main vehicle, carrying the 12 canister setup per side.... note that their size actually corresponds pretty well to the quad packed system seen at the earlier FK-3000 version in 2022, and the 2024 version's missile canisters are geometrically not similar to other past FK-3000 missiles as far as I'm aware
2024 version:
2022 version:
Second, is the FK-3000 UGV in 2024, carrying canisters that look identical to the 2024 FK3000's canisters, note the location of the bolts and main canister structural rings, and signs like arrows and CoG markers.
We can also see it has a FK-3000S missile on it, which is the missile that it is fitted with in the canister... assuming the missile has folding fins (which is a reasonable guess given most missiles have folding fins these days), it would correspond to a quad packed FK-3000S canister.
Which is to say, I suspect the FK-3000 2024 missile canister (and which we see in PLA service) is just a revised quad pack of the FK-3000 2022 missile canister, and that the missile utilized in the quad pack is the FK-3000S small missile.
