Apparently Chinese military is now developing (or at least looking into feasibility study) of a whooping 20 barrel gatling gun system that fires both at 12 and 6 o'clock positions at the same time.

In my opinion, it would be more useful to combo gun and missiles while missiles are the main weapon to counter thread and gun acts as the last line of defense. The reasons are; the LD-2000 I guess it carry no more than 500 rounds of ammo that it would run out of ammo shooting at a single target. Threats never come alone. With 8 ~ 12 missiles to counter threats at longer distance and the gun will take care of any break-through target at close distance.

It's better to use two guns combined. One gun with 20 barrels would be too complicated.

If you look on the previous page, there is an option to equip 4 QW series SAM. However, we still haven’t seen gun-missile combo in service.

I think Pantsir’s poor performance in Libya has given the gun missile combo a bad name
