What China wanted back in the 1970s may not carry over to desired capabilities today.Interesting, especially considering we are dismissing the possibility of a Chinese V/STOL aircraft. We know China is interested in ship-launched attack aircraft. For example, we heard about ship launched GJ-11 and a mini-catapult equipped LHD (Type 076) multiple times. But V/STOL? Sounds far fetched. Too specific of an investment and is likely a dead-end technology.
