If only they treat Chinese ADIZ as Chinese territorial airspace that would be marvellous...

Ah yes... the PLAAF still have a few hundred of these bad boys in service, mainly for local air defence roles I believe.
Okay, now that's just trolling, and I think I know why:
Are they really sending CAPs like they stated? If so, what planes?
Maybe J-7 converted to drones?
I think these days they rarely send up CAP, mostly just tell PLAAF pilot to leave via radio.
How do they tell different aircraft apart from one another? J-11 and J-16 should have similar radar returns.
