Obvious bait by US to let China navy to strike first. Remember Iran shoot US spy plane last year. US is trying to manufacture a reason to start a shooting war.

Just like always, from Gulf of Tonkin incident that leads to Vietnam war, World trade center terrorism(which was obviously an inside job ) that leads to Afghanistan war, and bogus WMD that leads to Iraq invasion.

This is arguably worse since Iran only shot down a drone, which has no pilot. If China shot down the U2 and the pilot died then it could be caus belli.
