And what about KJ-500 and KJ-700 production? Has KJ-700 superseded all KJ-500 production? Or is it a specific Navy only variant, being made alongside KJ-500A? And if so, does that mean navy will not be getting any more KJ-500?
Finally, we sort of stopped getting images of new KJ-500 and KJ-700 around 2024 or so. Do we have any evidence production goes on and at what pace? how many per year?

I think it is just too New to know and the 18 is die to being the Next number followkng the GX-17.

No, I had a friend in the plaaf tell me the -700 is going to be a navy exclusive project, but he hasn't been reliable recently so I'd take it with a grain of salt.
西飞 seems to be producing the KJ-500 still. I've been following KJ-700 production recently, and there seem to be no new airframes produced other than the two KJ-700s that are now in service in the NTC - 2nd Division 6th Air Regiment
Interesting - Shouldn't the KJ-500/700 be produced at Shaanxi instead of Xi'an?

Very old news, but since I'm new to this forum, I might just ask it.
Does anyone know anything about this airframe? It first appeared in CTFE in 2017, testing beside early KJ-500, gx-13 and gx-8 prototypes. I know it looks like the zdk03, but notice the small satcom antenna on the front fuselage, a device the zdk03s don't have. This plane has also been in CTFE possession since its first appearance in 2017 and is still parked in the "scrap" area to this day, so at least it's probably a test model. This plane also flew earlier than the KJ-700 and has different designs from that plane.
