Moscow, 13 July: Five Russian trains carrying military servicemen,
weapons and military equipment have arrived in China for the joint
Russian-Chinese antiterrorist exercise Peace Mission 2009, Col Igor
Konashenkov, aide to the [Russian] Ground Troops commander, has told
Interfax-AVN on Monday [13 July].
"All five trains with Russian military servicemen, weapons and
military equipment have arrived at the (?Hengshui) station in China.
At the moment, the last train is being unloaded," Konashenkov said.
In total, over 1,000 military servicemen, as well as 160 pieces of
military equipment, including 70 T-80 tanks and BMP-1 infantry
fighting vehicles, have been sent to China to take part in the
exercise. More than 150 rail cars and carriages were used to transport
