anyone watched the pair figure skating? china got silver and bronze. and the silver pair had some bad accidents. Zhang Dan fell during a 4-turn spin (first ever done in an international competition), and it was pretty serious. the judges gave the pair a 2 minute break and resumed their programme. what's surprising is that they ended in silver... of course, the credit goes to the new judging system. but still, it's amazing, completing their programme after she broke her knee (or something like that).

i saw the skating. how good was that, two medals with russia taking the gold. i wish i could even do one turn in the air considering i have trouble even skating. Zhang Dan injured the knee not broken, i don't think it would be possible to countiue (the pain), she injured it for she got ice on the knee and got the leg stapped with bandages afterward.

But i liked the way our Hockey team managed the first game...I mean we have lost to Switzerland during last couple years...but now we took a acceptable 5-0 victory. Exspecially it was nice to see our old warhorses, Selänne and Koivu to be so positively active....
