Everyone everywhere - not just X - was talking about it; heck, even some newspapers quoted it, and I couldn't trace it back to where it came from...

So I'm posting here to see if anyone has any comments or ideas where it came from.

Yes, "Everyone everywhere" like the similar stupid posts all over the net claiming India might get Tu-160M, Iran built a STOVL-fighter based on the Q313 together with China and Pakistan already operates J-35 with PL-17!

Come on, we are not a Kindergarten forum discussing BS like this ... just a bit of common sense always help and especially knowing this as a shit-spreading click-bait site.

Time is better used on speculations with basis in reality such as if we ever see ground launched variant of air launched cruise missile when considering overall size of it and probable weight could fit inside space of North Korean pseudo-HIMARS analogue.

Honestly very surprising and unexpected for such missile being developed when looking at how it does not look related to Kh-35 which some of us certainly thought North Korea would have made air launched variant of Kumsong-3 yet here we are with something new.

A design in the style of the Golf-class... quite "unusual" by today's standards.

I don't know, but... does a mast extended in this way significantly affect the ship's ability to dive and maneuver while submerged?

Seems like everyone in East Asia having nuclear subs is only going to be a matter of when, not if.

Perhaps China should just go all-in with nuclear-powered SSNs and SSBNs, and retain only a small fleet of conventionally-powered SSKs.
