europe is still a relatively open market compared to theUS and with high margins. So Chinese companies need to be present there as well, especially since the margins in China are very thin due to the intense price competition and sometimes they barely even make enough to break even. So it helps that Chinese companies can expand abroad to earn some profit from their business . Reason why many Chinese car makers are investing hugely overseas (Europe included). I heard they now invest even more abroad than in China this year. Says a lot.
So I don’t think they should just give up all investment and making money in Europe because of some risks. If that’s the case then China shouldn’t invest in any country since there are also risks there one way or the other .
