This was the unit I was talking about.
It's owned by John Deere now and obviously larger.

Robotics done at that level is a learning process for students. Using three hydraulic cylinders per leg is not an achievement. That's old tech. It would be more impressive if the actuators are located at the joints using torque power. But they can still learn about the mechanics of motion and axis control. Then they should move up to the next level.

Boston Dynamics' creations should give them the aspirations.
