APS means active protection system. ERA is an example passive protection.

No it is a sort of reactive armor. Passive armor would be something like pure steel, or those applique 'brows' on T-62M.

What is the designation of the partially out of picture APC on our left?

ZSD-89A APC. It looks like a ZBD-04A and shares certain running gear components but it's distinct in the choice of engine and transmission. You can tell if an armored vehicle is based on the ZSD-89A or ZBD-04 chassis based on the different rake in the front upper armor and the wavy pattern of the side skirts.

What would the reverse speed of the 99A be? From some of the videos, they never show it reversing.
