Perhaps I misread how the line they drew works, with the arrow.I respectfully disagree with respect to the shadow. Below is a version of the top pic in , further annotated by me. All yellow annotations are from the original. The red and light-blue annotations are by me.
To me, the top yellow arrowhead does indeed point to the hull edge itself, while the red arrowhead (added by me) points to the shadow edge. The red longitudinal line (added by me) approximately defines the shadow edge. The light-blue line (added by me) approximately defines the starboard hull edge.
I am *not* opining on whether the 14.249m approximation is accurate, however. I am opining *only* on whether the yellow line between the two yellow arrowheads includes the shadow.
