I'd rather have an ad slide-up from below.

The slide-down ad covers the notification bar.

Made some changes with the ads.

As mentioned before, if you are registered member and logged in, you should not see any ads.

Does this also apply to mobile devices? I mostly browse on using my phone and the ads are always there.

I am logged in and they are today that much annoying … even between two threads on the main page there are ads!
