Hi Sino Dudes and Dudettes, Aidan here. I live in North Qld Australia, currently several years into studying an electrical engineering degree with minor subjects based around intelligent system control. The plan is to join the airforce or work abroad with contractors in avionics or power systems.

Welcome LFO, and glad to have a "techy dude" joining us here on the SDF.

My name's Michael and I'm from the great city of Dallas, Texas. I've been a Chinese military enthusiast for a very long time now and hope to glean a thing or two from this forum. Fact, I've been following this forum for quite a while now but never registered until recently. Compared to other forums, SDF is undoubtedly the best moderated and most educational.

For some reason, Texas seems to be the one region with the most SDF members... I think we have at least about 10 members who either live in Texas now or have lived in Texas before.

Hello all. I'm a Canadian who's interest in military equipment began with my first job. I worked at a few sub contractors for the Canadian armed forces. That work dried up in the mid 90's as the prime minister basically cancelled the military. I live in Alberta so my skills transferred to oil field services. I got tired of never being home so headed back to college and took electronics engineering. My interest in military stuff continues so here I am. Nice too meet you all

Yay, another Albertan. Too bad the oil industry here is dying too.

Hello everyone !
I'm Pollux from France. I'm a moderator of some defense forums, and I'm also a defense specialist in French paper press, from time to time. Thanks to my buddy of eastpendulum.com, I'm more and more interested in chinese defense topics for a few months.
I'm reading you for weeks now, but I'm going to start asking you a lot of (proably boring) questions !
Glad to meet you all !
