I joined 3 days ago, but i'm a new memeber so i'd better introduce myself. My nationality is English, and my current residence is in al ittle town called harpenden. You can know my first name, whichis James. I'm a big fan of SDF and I hope i makea contribution here. Just one question - how do you get a photo on your screename here? I haven't seen any where where I can do that. By the way, if you need to know my age, its 16.

in order to post a photo by screen name u need to advance in your membership status... meaning more posts. can't remember the exact number, but the higher you go, the bigger the pic.

Hi, i've been looking on this site for info about the Chinese military for, ohhh, what seems like forever, at least since 2003, and i've found it to be the most reliable english language source of PLA knowledge on the internet, i hope to learn more about the PLA from this forum, and helping me to understand how to tell liars, such as Bill Gertz, apart from reliable western authors,, speaking of which does anyone know any?

My name is A. Rahman. I am originally from Bangladesh, I run the largest Bangladeshi defence website on the internet currently and I have a deep interest in Bangladesh-China defence and economic relations.

I hope to exchange news with you guys more often in the future and btw SinoDefence is thought of very highly in Bangladesh, even some officers use it as a reference in defence papers.:)

I am from Europe (to be exact, from Hungary) age almost thirty and economist as my profession...hobby used to be Soviet military technology (naval and air) but it seems now I am shifting to Chinese waters:) now go to sleep, cheers
