CATL building battery Gigafactory in Polannd to supply Tesla Gigafactory in Germany probably

Poland build quality is a bit suspect but I assume CATL will maintain strict oversight over quality

Also interesting is Nio released a job ad for a Plant Manager in Poland. Hmm...

They lost price competitiveness as prices of key raw materials such as lithium, nickel and cobalt surged. LG Energy and Samsung SDI were known to raise prices of cylindrical batteries by 10% and 7%, respectively, from next month as nickel prices have quadrupled in the last year.

It seems that they have already lost. They placed all their bets on NCM batteries and didn't even consider LFP batteries

S.Korean companies simply need to "git gud" , pay more attention on their strategic direction and take into account their supplies availability, risk assessments and diversification strategies
