That's been done for many years now by various luxury car manufacturers, the difficulty is making a light enough and cost effective enough suspension to take full advantage of it. Looks like BYD has managed to do it whereas Bose failed.
Some of the other successful active suspensions Delphi (GM) Magneride, Multimatic-made suspensions
This BYD system seems very similar to the Multimatic system using motors to actually move the chassis rather than a electromagnetic fluid like Magneride.
Multimatic is used mostly in supercars (Ford GT, Ferrari, etc.)
Considering the application on U7, I don't think it's cheap
