I guess any Chinese made EV destined for export will have to have a Tesla NACS charging port to have any chance of maintaining/building up a sales momentum. Why is the NACS port better?

DC charging plug is a lot more compact, easier to plug in.

Or just buy Mitsubishi lol. With enough luck they'd even be able to sell in the US under mitsu badging

Mitsubishi is owned by Nissan, sorry “Alliance”

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this since we don't have an Indian vehicle thread. Tata Safary suffers a lot of failure and airbag went off even car is still after only 10 days of purchase.

I guess the car knows its a death trap, so it preemptively deploys the airbags* to spare the driver an early funeral lol

* Yes, I know airbags deploying randomly is still dangerous.

I read that the chassis of the M9 is 5230/1999/1800mm with a wheelbase of 3110mm and the photo of the M9 suggests that it doesn't have a tailgate spare tire. If that's true, the M9 would be super long!
I'm happy for the success of Chinese car companies going for bigger cars but OTOH I think large cars are pretty cancer.

You really don't need anything larger than a Corolla (or a compact MPV if you have 7)

Larger cars are just bad for the environment. Waste of resources to build, takes up more space, increases road wear, harder to drive, more blind spots etc.

Other than Tesla and maybe GM, No Chinese car makers will export Plugin cars with NACS. Because it's an North America only standard short for North America Charging Standard, which itself is based on Tesla's charging port. So far only cars from Tesla support NACS in NA.

It’s common in China to go big. Starting off with li auto suvs which are huge. M9 is a direct competitor to l9
