ROSS is a bigger priority than lunar bases, Even though the Yenisei was proposed to be 4 times cheaper than the SLS the developement was too expensive where they recommend a methane engine solution. They have Krylo-SV and Irkut which is a new methane rocket with a total mass of 25 tons being used as a fly wing and Amur which is a methane VTOL version. Of course they dont have money to blow like the US and China. Its not just the drilling in holes lady I also heard NASA had a lesbian that committed the 1st space crime spying on her exs bank account or something like that as well, surely the chinese would prefer to cooperate with Russia. NASA is too woke for me to enjoy that I would rather prefer to follow another US space company even if most of the time the CEO displays himself as a vaporware salesman with having big fans like thunderf00t. Happy about Nuklon is enough for meI advise not holding your breath. The Russians have made a lot of plans yet build? They were supposed to and are supposed to replace Soyuz by my count half a dozen times now. Orel is supposed to replace it now but we haven’t seen hide nor hair.
Now along side that they want a new station or joint venture with China. The Chinese don’t need the Russians. They already have the start of their station. The Russians might need the Chinese though because they don’t have a station yet. Farther the recent issues with ISS in new modules thrusters raid safety questions. Image of the Russians launch a new station module go to dock and suddenly the station’s thrusters decided it didn’t like the orbit? It’s not a pretty picture.
That’s not even considering the questions on QC. Remember the Hole in Soyuz? The Russians may try and blame a foreign Astronaut (if you want to get spicy about that see here #7 ) but that’s pretty questionable boarding on magic bullets.
Do I think Russia could maybe build a new station? Maybe. Maybe but given the issues they have had it seems like if they did it would be a Salut more than a Mir.
It needs to be if they intend to actually have a proper program. But given their track record it’s not exactly a bright shiny future.ROSS is a bigger priority than lunar bases
It's going to blow up, deform then blow up or crash then blow up.
Centaur upper stage of the Atlas V uses Stainless steel. There's a reason why stainless isn't used for rockets.
It’s quite common for weight reduction. There's another reason why why propellent tanks don't share a common wall.
Most rockets until today were disposed of in launch so it was a cost issue. SpaceX has made its name though by building engines on a mass scale production. It’s true the N1 rocket tried it and failed in an epic manor. But Falcon 9 and the previous launches prove that SpaceX can do it.Then there's another reason why it's better to have few powerful engines than 10+ small ones.
LMAO. No it’s Internal funds no take dollars No Gulf money. It’s SpaceX funds . Perhaps you should change your handle. But it's just taxpayer and Gulf Arab money so whatever lol.
and so is the fact thatCentaur upper stage of the Atlas V uses Stainless steel.

Common bulkheads are a less reliable design because 1. weld seam is a weakpoint and 2. it cannot simultaneously be strong against pressure from both sides since the concave side will be weaker to pressure than the convex side. The adapters connect the tank structure to the rest of the rocket.
Both interstage adapters use the same flight-proven aluminum/lithium skin/stringer construction
