Like I said before, I like the dark stuff. That’s why I enjoy Netflix Marvel shows like Daredevil a lot more than the Marvel movies. To me, the Marvel movies are so boring... I literally fell asleep while watching Avengers 2/3... on the other hand, I was on the edge of my seat while watching BvS (I know... I’m weird).

What's so intriguing about the islands?

Talking about Islands I was on the American continent couple of months ago and on my Homewood LEGO stopped off at San Francisco where I visited Alcatraz.
Men the ferry out to Alcatraz must of had a fly infestation is there must have been hundreds of flies flying around on the boat and infiltrated the cafeteria yuck..

A part of my trip to New York I would have to rate my holiday it's a bit of a disappointment full stop
Starting on the morning of my trip the commuter flight I was taking up to Auckland international airport was packed full I was sitting in my seat and looking around me and now just there was only a few empty seats left then I noticed the female equivalent of jabber the hut walking up the

Isle. And I started to hope she would not sit next to me.but she did.in the two hour journey her hole essence flowed into me and stayed with me for the next 15hrs of flightime to Torronto.the tr1vel agent inste1d of booking me into hotel in downtown Toronto booked s room 1t the Sheraton by the falls.which meant an xtra 2hours shuttle bus trip.

Saw Thor: Ragnarok and while it is not the best movie of the year by a long shot, it was the best time I've had at a movie theater this year. Might actually go see it again with my wife this Thanksgiving since all the department stores/malls are closed.

Terran Empire is going to hate me for watching the Orville lately. It's not too bad, they kind of brought back the Gene Rodenberry early Star Trek morality issues with some of the episodes (that's been missing in Trek lately) along with a little more humor to it.

I saw Justice League on Friday. It was satisfactory for entertainment but it could've been better. I don't know if it's a sign of the times but the return of "you know who" could've been much more spectacular than how they did it. That's what I find lately in movies. They lost the ability to build tension and excitement.

Batman tells Wonder Woman how she shouldn't hide in the shadows and needs to be an inspiration to people. And then where does the final battle take place? Essentially Chernobyl. What a way to tell the world that's lost hope after the death of Superman for the world not to really know what's happening. They were probably afraid of the criticism after Man of Steel at the amount of destruction on Metropolis when Superman fought Zod. Well what more to counter the criticism then to have Steppenwolf lay siege to Metropolis and you know who comes back to save the day.

Didn't know Voldermort was in the movie.

Interesting how PR works. Natalie Portman is doing press for her new movie Annihilation and she gets blindsided when she finds out her character is Asian in the original source material. Of course this comes out after she's been vocal in the #MeToo movement. It's more of the producers' fault especially since this controversy has been around long before this movie was made. So Natalie Portman shows up on Jimmy Kimmel Live wearing an Asian inspired dress.

That's why the West and the US in particular as in Hollywood film industries can't claim themselves as diversify and representing all races equally. Imagine if the movie "Black Panther" protagonist character was played by an Asian character or of another race?

They already filled their quota on making Black Panther. And now they'll expect China to reward them by opening up its market to every Hollywood movie.
