Ok he looked much better than the previous one.

I hope you mean the American zilla not the last Japanese Godzilla which was closer to the Original. Though this version reminds me of Godzilla 2000 where the spines went stylized and looks like a Chinese branch sword.

The American zilla. The previous one looks too much like a mish mash of various creatures like a T-Rex hind legs with an alligator like head and tail of a lizard.

Anybody heard of the movie "Her?" It's about a guy who falls in love with something like "Siri" on the iPhone. It's one of those weird independents that's made several of the best movies lists for 2013. The thing is I just heard they filmed in Shanghai as a near future Los Angeles.

Here's the trailer. It looks interesting, but how can today's Shanghai be a future LA? LA has mountains and near the ocean while Shanghai has no mountains and by the river, unless they just filmed just the downtown area and pretend it's LA I can see that. Shoot I remember in Robocop 2 they used the background of downtown Houston as Detroit.

On IMDB there was a note on goofs where the freeway signs are in Chinese and English but then I don't know how far in the future this movie takes place where they could just say China has figuratively taken over.

Yes folks they're thinking about doing the Gilligan's Island movie. Here are the possible casts to play the part of each characters. I have to say I always like Mary Ann and Ginger when I was kid watching that show.

Gail and I went to see, "Saving Mr. Banks," yesterday. It is the story about how Walt Disney convinced the woman who wrote the books about "Mary Poppins," to turn it into a movie.

It was one of the most decent and wholesome movies I have seen in a long time. Some good humor, but mainly a GREAT story. For anyone who has seen and liked, "Mary Poppins," by Walt Disney as a kid or later, then this movie would be great for you.

That movie came out in 1964 when I was eight years old. but we never went to movie theaters as kids and saw it 4 or 5 years later when it came out on TV.

We loved it...and seeing how they came up with some of the songs, like, "Suprcalifragilisticexpialidotious,", "Let's go Fly a Kite," etc. and the story behind the story, both how Disney was able to convince her to do it, and also what the woman went through and meant in writing the story, was just very interesting and very wholesome.

Highly recommended.

I took my grandsons to see "Frozen," on December 28th here in Emmett, Idaho. What a GREAT movie. Even though it opened over a month ago, it was sold out here.

Wholesome, fun, and a great story line. Shows that a decent movie can be made and that people will come and see it. I then took Gail for our family night last night and we both enjoyed it a lot...me for the 2nd time, and sold out again!

I encourage everyone who has kids, or grandkids, or wants a fun date with the "better half," to go and see this movie.
