With the needed aircover the invasion fleet begins massive shore bombardment of the landing zones around... Tainan, between Tainan Airport and the Tainan seaport, and begins disembarking. Some 80,000 marines begins disembarking, while taking heavy fire the Marine Corps is well trained and well disciplined fighting force and like the Marines landing in Normandy take inch after bloody inch, and soon begin pushing into the suburbs with the intention of seizing important docking installations and establishing a defendable perimeter.

i already called the entire PLAN.
with the af and army called, i guess you could command spec ops, especially cause i have a plan to use them.

ok, back to the game:
as the invasion proceeds, the plan's role is beconming more and more limited. 80% of its mission is to ensure a steady supply of food, ammo, medicine, and spare parts flow to the pla forces on the ground. in land bombardment with guns and missles is also a critical role. ensuring the blocakde stays tight covers the last 10%.

the planaf is still a critical player, operating most of the areas advanced jh-7as and mkk2s. this force makes routine raids on taipei.

Utelore, Normany landed 100,000 troops ON THE FIRST DAY and Sinodefence as my source said that it could launch close to that number by 2006, so by 2008 and by using fishing boats and light convertable freighters I can do it. But I'll corrrect my numbers a little, 80,000 instead, there's still that other invasion fleet...

the ROC has begun lanuching more modifed ASM at the airport at Changle and towards the city center of Fuzhou. I have also started PRC merchant raiding with attack trainers armed with rockets and gun pods lanched from roadways and still operational airports.

Reports from pool reporters are reporting that the ROC is using TOW missile rounds in the development of roadside bombs. another pool reporter wittnessed a 5 ton IED being tested by ROC forces and some reports say that the ROC has deployed as many as 30 of these 5 ton IED underground near major routs into Taipei.

More reports of major cities becoming fortresses with main battle tanks and ATGW teams roaming the streets.

You seem to have missed you now have a civil conflict to deal with, that you have lost half your forces and are confined to the South of the Island.

The KMT have been regular visitors to PRC since Spring 2005. When they turn on the DPP, take half the Island and its Military forces and say to PRC -lets talk - they will talk !!! believe you me. They will not try to Invade Taipei - not immediately anyway .

So back to scenario

DIPLOMATIC MESSAGE FROM KMT HELD TAIPEI TO BEIJING

This can still be win win.
If PRC recognises KMT as legitimate government of Autonomous Taiwan. Recognises Taiwanese autonomous Political System. Recognises TDF as having primary responsibility for Defence of Taiwanese Territory, Territorial Waters and Air Space as established under the One China Policy. Then...

KMT and CCP can form a Government of National Emergency and PLA forces can land in North Taiwan at Invitation of KMT and operate under joint command against Rebel DPP forces in the South.

Once hostilities are concluded:

PLA can establish a Permenant Base on Taiwan, operate through Taiwanese Airspace and Territorial Waters. Further KMT will enter dialouge with PRC to commence a process of ever closer co-operation and Integration.

If you agree to this proposal you can deal with the DPP without giving foriegn forces any excuse to try and intervene. Plus your troops can land unopposed.

Besides once DPP see us together most of their forces will probably defect or surrender.

taiwan will have full rights to govern itself. after the war is over, ad hoc system of government will be set up. all dpp are now rebels under the law of the prc.

what u propose, is soemthing that prc officials have dreamed of for a long time. ezcept the dpp was in the way. already, a plan is in store for chiense spec ops to land in taipei and sieze the dpp high command.

heres the breakdown after the war is over:
1.the dpp waill have goverment power over taiwan. it will be up to you to restore order after the postwar chaos
2. taiwan is now officially an autonomous republic of the prc
3. all kmt and dpp military units are to be disbanded IMMEDIATELY. they will be reformed as part the taiwan province MR. PLA generals from the mainland however, will take control temporarily. the roc navy is to become the fourth branch of the plan

all taiwanese military equipment will bge under the authority of bejing.

MESSAGE FROM KMT HELD TAIPEI TO BEIJING

Are you demanding we surrender? You wish to humiliate us and leave us no face?

We are physically incapable of disbanding as we are fully engaged in Internal conflict with DPP seperatists.

KMT forces are proud and unbeaten, we are unready to surrender. Are you coming as friends and liberators or as conquerors? Further, I am sure you would wish to land under friendly KMT Air and Naval Cover?

Besides we are getting a lot of calls from Major Foriegn Investors in Taiwan and PRC. They want to be assured of the safety of their Investments. They want to be assured that Taiwan is still a respected partner and so want to see PLA and KMT forces working together. If they do not see this, a lot are talking about how much more developed India is these days!!!

They are also saying that they would be far more comforted if they saw the Leader of the KMT with a major Position in the Chinese Government, something like Deputy Premier or Finance Minister.

We can discuss the exact structual changes to the TDF after the fighting, but no time now, we must finish the DPP as soon as possible.

We can agree to this we can arrange safe PLA landings in a matter of hours.

25,000 ultra pro indepedence men and women have joined the "Freedom Corps" there also some reports filtering out that as many as 200 american special forces and CIA special activities groups are training the Freedom corp mainly in the use of the AT-4 , stinger, and Javilin.

one report claims that just before Hostile action 50 stinger with 300 missile/ 40 more Javilin with 500 missile and dozens of AT-4 have been delievered to elements of the Freedom corp.

Pool reporters are claiming that The city of Pingtung and montainous areas east has become a major strong hold of the freedom corp with as many as 8000 operating in that area.

A dump truck full of explosive have attacked PLA sympathizers HQ in the Taipei area. The building was then stormed by Freedom corp and special forces and all inside were shot. Freedom corp units and ROC special forces have seized controll of the city center of Taipei.

203mm heavy arty have begun shelling PRC landing groups and amph warfare ships and a bat sized force of M-60A3 has also been reported to have been attacking the landing areas.

our evacuation mission this day was continued without problems.

Let me inform you about one thing near the south "neutral zone":
Arroudn 5 hours ago at 23.00 local time - one hour before midnight - a massive bombardement around Tainan begins. Tainan is the next city north of Kangshan, neigboured to Kaohsiung, where our evacuation forces controll the airport.
The observing team see a lot of fire, illuminatet by shoots of fighting troops.
We don't now the number of soldiers, which are engaged there.
Tainan and Kangshan are separetet by an marshy ground at the coast. Only a small corridor between this ground in the west and the mountains in the east will allow to pass betwen both citys.
The contactofficers of local taiwan military declared, there is no dangerous to our evacuation forces.

The evacuation is continuing also by night.
