Russia has become a topic of argument in the Turkish presidential elections.
Erdogan's main opponent, Klçdaroglu, sent a message to the Russian expert community, which deals with the problem of relations between the Russian Federation and Turkey.
"Turkey has an interest in keeping Turkish-Russian relations healthy and dignified," he wrote.
Klçdaroglu also stressed that his political alliance does not consider "anti-Russian approaches in the world" to be correct.
"In the short term, our political priority will be to end the conflict in Ukraine and ensure the safe continuation of the Black Sea Grain Initiative agreement."
"In addition, we will continue to assist in ending the differences between our two neighbors (Russia and Ukraine)," the presidential candidate added.
Recall that the presidential elections in Turkey will be held on May 14. Today, the country's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan became ill; there is a suspicion of a heart attack.
