He reminds me of an EU diplomat (he himself claimed so) in 2014 during the first Ukrainian crisis who I encountered in an argument in thediplomat website. At the end of argument, the man threatened China to take consequences if China did not accommodate (his) EU's desire. I told him, be careful of what you are asking, you may get something totally against your interest in return if you try to force China's hand.
Now I wonder if I was arguing with a protege of Borrell or VDL or even themselves at the time.
Israel should be an enemy of China, but so was Saudi Arabia. Both regimes are guilty of similar levels of criminality in service to Washington's interests. Saudi's war in Yemen and Israel's war on Palestine.
I think China will approach Israel with the same mindset as with Iran and Saudi. The Jewish-Muslim strife is often hyped as insurmountable, but so was the sunni-shia strife.
Israel will have it's chance to cut ties with evil. Once that is done, when it comes to sectarian disputes, they will not be given a bad deal. Any deal would respect both the muslim and jewish side.
The most important thing is that just like Iran and Saudi, Israel will leave America and join China. China has never hurried countries by force to implement reforms, Israel would not be an exception.

There's a very simple path for Israel to get peace and diplomatic recognition from the Muslim world. They simply have to allow the Palestinian state to exist and develop. The Muslim states don't hate Jewish people, they don't like what was done to the Palestinians
Of course in a fair world they'd have to allow the refugees to return and give back the stolen land, but that's not realistic. But China could probably broker a deal in which Israel allows the Palestinians to open an embassy and shares Jerusalem and in exchange gets diplomatic relations with Saudi and Iran as well as all the smaller countries. They'll probably need to withdraw their occupation forces from the annexed Syrian territory as well
