I think China is ghosting the US. China has done this to lesser countries. What's new is that China is doing to the US. China usually waits until the next government of a country changes hands to then talk to. It is pretty useless talking to the US because it's always what the US wants disregarding anything China wants and then the US takes a swipe at China for optics at home. Blinken's cancelled trip to China to "improve relations" to show the US was the good guy... if it did happen would've then reveal the news China was "thinking" of supplying Russia with deadly aid. It makes it look like China was the one that ruined it. It's like Obama scolding China that true friends don't spy on friends to make China look bad. And then we find out Obama spied on Angela Merkel and today now we find out how the US was eavesdropping on conversations between South Koreans officials. Now you know why the US doesn't want anyone using Huawei. This should be used as propaganda to counter the US on the dangers of adopting US tech because they're doing exactly what they're accusing China because that's how they're using it.

Kishida's security detail at work:

If that was an actual military grade grenade instead of home made explosive he'll be having meeting with Abe right now.

I think whoever selected the security detail if definitely in on the assassination attempt to have only staffed his detail with the most inept and incompetent idiots in the entire unit.

What are you talking about? How is it a "concession" to reaffirm your stance?

China doesn't want to sell weapons to Russia, and Russia doesn't want to buy weapons from China. The whole story is a fabrication by the US.

China is currently engaged in a grand strategy of diplomatically isolating the US. This requires China to position itself as a better alternative to US hegemony. Being seen as profiting from the Russia-Ukraine war would be very detrimental to that goal, therefore China needed to make it crystal clear that it would not be selling weapons to Russia.

Baerbock is just a irrelevant trash talking clown. You don't let insignificant people like her influence your game plan!

Yes, this latest statement has nothing to do with 360 clown, but no, this is a change in stance on China’s part, but it is a change being closely co-ordinated with Russia, as can be seen from the Chinese defence minister visit immediately afterwards, which was announced before this statement.

I think there are many levels and angles at play here. At the most superficial level, it could be that the Russians themselves wanted this statement from China because they want all the glory of the eventual victory, and not have that tarnished by accusations that their victory was only possible thanks to Chinese arms.

At a deeper level, this could be more co-ordination between China and the pro-neutrality factions within Europe to try to help Europe scale back its military and economic contributions to this black hole for money and arms that Ukraine has become for them.

At the deepest level, this could be a trap for the most rabidly pro-American and anti-Russian ‘New Europe’ club countries with delusions of grandeur and dreams of empire. The Russians meatgrinders might have done their job and reduced the AFU’s manpower and materials reserves so much that their much vaunted spring offensive is at risk of still birthing before it could be launched. It is not beyond the realm of possibility that the likes of Poland, who already have sent and lost not inconsequential numbers of troops in Ukraine that now is their time.

The Ukrainians, through their heroic stubborn resisters have ground the Russians down. 95% of their special forces are gone; Wagner are down to penal legion lemming rushes; Russia is running out of everything from missiles to shells to washing machines and toilet seats and half their newly conscripted grunts don’t even know which end of a rifle to point at the enemy. And now even the Chinese are abandoning the Russians!

With a fresh, NATO army entering their field now, they can restore the Polish-Lithuanian empire, which includes Ukraine and a big chunk of modern day Russia. The time for New Europe to rise is now!

To be fair, real wages or things like standard of living have little to do with being a superpower. Look at how USA has a lower healthier lifespan than most of europe and even china.
Real wage level is an indicator of economic strength and is a proxy of GDP. You can't be a super power with $3.5 trillion economy like India despite all the Jai Hind propaganda.

This is the difference between Wang Yi and Annalena Baerbock.

Wang Yi is a professional diplomat. Annalena Baerbock is kind of like still new to the job. Sometime she comes across as being rather amateurish.

The Chinese are patient. Gave her their full attention. Looking at those pictures, one thing stuck me. This is probably the youngest foreign visitor these guys had to host. Since she was a young girl, they probably took it easy on her.

What Wang Yi said about China supporting German reunification was the best reply. No need to further talk about that too much.
