I call BS on this. There are millions of Chinese balloons floating over the US every year.
This is ridiculous, can a balloon that came over to the USA be all it takes to slip an EMP in because I refuse to believe that the USA air defence could not shoot it down. All this crying like sissies and no one at least tries to fly a plane up there to try and divert the balloon away just in case. The USA is asking to get bombed by Chinese slow moving air balloons loaded with Panda Poo, really the USA is that stupid, or they are lead by babies…. Oh forget it the leader is a literally baby for the most part, he doesn’t know how to travel down the stairs safely, even my 2 year old daughter can be trusted to do that much.
On a slightly lighter note, that it is one mighty fine balloon and that fact it is floating above the USA (if really from China) for this long means that tech has come quite along way to show the durability of Chinese goods

Imagine taking US media at face value when they claim a Chinese balloon has never been over the middle of the country before. Just because it wasn't reported doesn't mean it never happened or it wasn't tracked before.
Americans react in hysteric ways when things go in ways they are not used to seeing. Think of Eileen Gu. Her insta account was spammed with genocide barbie and traitor comments by literally tens of thousands of people.

China seems to be finally learning something with this balloon stunt. This Blinken trip under the guise of better ties was going to be more of the same and would be followed by further anti-China actions so why bother? You'll still be seeing the upcoming anti-China actions. The US does the opposite of what they say. It's usually to offset to the public what they're about to do.

The fact is the US flies spy missions over adversary countries that can't shoot them down to this day. The same with China during the Cold War until China was able to shoot them down. Now the US hides that they don't do such things behind their "respect" for international law. Remember Iran shot down the US's most advanced drone flying over the country.
