Germany of the last 30 years is truly confusing. Germany is normally known for its work ethic and how efficiently it does things. But in the last 30 years, it turned into a country that can do nothing without massive delays and cost overruns. If you know people in Germany just ask them. You'll see most Germans know a bridge in their vicinity that has been in construction for 15+ years.

Okay, I am going to bash the Indians now.

The problem with the Indian elite, is that they are stupid. Geopolitics and technology is not their forte.

China, is going head to head with America, in this fight for technology, economics, blah blah blah.

Just one example, is the quantum computer, or the IC industry.

China attitude is what is this? Sanctions my butt. We take on all of yous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

See, there is the problem.

India is cheering for America in this fight.

However, India would rather cheer for India.

But those guys are not even in the game.

That stings.

So when China presses it up a notch, the avoidance (lack of a better term) starts to go big time.

discussing China's potential plans in the Indian Ocean the comment below stood out for me about how some Chinese strategists see India both as a partner and an adversary.

Quote: As Ye Hailin, the vice president of the Institute of Asia-Pacific and Global Strategy in the Chinese Academy of Social Science, stated, “In layman’s terms, China has never regarded India as a main concern, whether it is a partner or an opponent, it is a secondary level.” However, Indian leaders’ fears of China potentially containing India have driven New Delhi to reach out to Washington. This situation is inimical to Chinese interests.
