Japanese society has always valued might above right, that’s why they have little to no remorse over their atrocities during WWII, and also why they worship the white man because they got spanked so hard during WWII by them.

It’s hard to get motivated to make something of yourself when you know your ‘racially superior’ master will come with the belt and take you down a few pegs ever time you do too well.

I only said Japan is in decline but it is still well functioning country relative to others. why will it change current arrangements with US and EU when things still works well for them. it does not have to put manpower in self developing every weapon system. the superior products that Japan made were for temporary time period in narrow fields. There is no way Japan could compete with EU and US. the size of funding and scale of Universities in West are far bigger than Japan. Japan is Island it need West developed Airlines to fly anywhere.
they are part of western team some loses and some gains happens.
