Zero Chance. It won’t happen or even be possible because the shipping lanes would have been already closed. They can’t impose anything when it’s already functionally dead and neither would any civilian cargo firms will want to transport during the conflict.

The oil price cap is another dumb idea from Europe. I thought they weren't buying oil from Russia any more. All it's doing is making them even more dependent on OPEC for oil, which means they will have to do anything the Arabs say when it comes to Israel. Since that's not possible the only option they will have is to go without oil. It's watching an entire continent commit suicide.
long term contracts may have other clauses like delivery X number of physical goods and services, accepting Russia Mir card etc
. Russia is investing as fast it can built infrastructure away from Europe. so priority may not be price but it what it gets in return.
it is not in interest of OPEC+ members to have much lower price in the market.
Russia continue to make investment in cultural and ideological in direction OPEC+.

It’s hilarious how the Brits import the least amount of Russian gas out of all the European nations but they are getting screwed harder than anyone else in Western Europe. The gleeful Brits a few months ago have been very terrified with winter prices. UK subreddit isn’t that fond of the brewing situation either anymore. Some of them are shocked they are getting hit this badly.
The most funny part of the situation, is they will be on their own because of Brexit, lol ! If Britain would be still with the rest, sharing problems would have helped a bit. Right now it's a race to oblivion. Not being able to buy an European car or goods is sad in Russia but not being able to heat your home is something else entirely...
