India is yet to understand that people dont buy Chinese mobiles out of compulsion, they but it because its top quality .
So called Indian Mobile companies source most of their parts from China and then assemble their device in India. What if China retaliates and bans exports of such parts to India? (Too bad China wont ).
This move is in larger context of 5G. India already banned Huawei and now is trying to phase out Chinese Mobiles from 5G market.

One way to kill inflation is by killing demand. Fed is doing that by raising rates but what if the Gov comes down with the tax hammer on the poor. The US may see inflation ramp down a bit over a couple years.
