When the West says they're standing by their principles, it's the way to get their own citizens to accept it's going to cost them more money. Biden in South Korea said countries that hold the same values and principles should not be reliant on countries that don't. It's the nicer way of telling their own citizens everything is going to cost them more money. Business finds the cheapest way to produce things they can. If they were in China, it's because it was the lowest cost to them. The West is trying to taunt everyone else as an alternative to China. And it'll cost them more money. I don't see any of those countries with their own infrastructure in place to be an alternative. I don't see them with the shipping fleets scouring the world for the raw materials needed to make Western products. It's going to take decades for India to be the alternative they think they can be and that's if there's no corruption in their government interfering. The West is not gaining more power and influence in the world. They're losing it meaning any change they want to make will cost them more money and they want to hide all the pain under their principles. All the West's moves aren't about shutting China out. It's all about scaring China into submission. Australia is relegated to standing by their principles because that's all they got.

China seeks more island security pacts to boost clout in Pacific

Talks with Kiribati and another nation come after Beijing agrees deal with Solomons
China is intensifying its drive for influence in the Pacific by negotiating security deals with two additional island nations following a pact with the Solomon Islands, according to officials in the US and allied countries.
Beijing’s talks with Kiribati, a Pacific island nation 3,000km from Hawaii where US Indo-Pacific Command is based, are the most advanced, the officials said.
“They are in talks with Kiribati and at least one more Pacific island country over an agreement that would cover much of the same ground as that with Solomon Islands,” said an intelligence official from a US ally.
Experts say the vast improvement in China’s military capabilities over the past two decades would make a Chinese air force or navy foothold relatively close to Hawaii even more significant today.
Slowly getting closer to Hawaii. The time will come when we will liberate the locals from the American colonisers

Maybe those FLG rumors have some slight truth to them, the doomsday clock should be adjusted soon.

It be a case of a broken clock still being correct twice a day at best lol.

With that said, from the 2 latest Guanqi, it does seem like the later half of this year might be turbulent, I think they even hinted at the possibility of even making a move on Taiwan (or well might even take it).
