Sigh, may this be blast all over the media so that under no certain terms that the USA is the worst when it comes to alliances, they literally will murder their allies for shits and giggles. This is sickening, may China continuously remind the USA of this transgressions any time they bring up Xinjiang again because I am absolutely positive that China has never sunk to this level on the international stage ever.

"Inherent right to self-defense" according to them. Despicable. They were trying to do the exact same thing Americans were doing, which is shooting into the air to calm people down.

Americans seem to think they can openly fire into the air in a sovereign nation, but when the soldiers of that same sovereign country do it (and to actually help the Americans mind you) they are summarily executed.

Of course even left wing rags like CNN will cover this up. No hope for Americans to ever treat people equally, the only way is making them suffer the same way the nations they have destroyed have suffered.

Indeed scene like this is a depiction of the very sad story of the country and its people. For about 40 years Afghanistan has been torn down by the almost nonstop war, and most of Afghans don't have opportunity to taste the normal life, incl. the Taliban.

The Taliban are in practice Pashtun nationalists, and it is this that has made them so resilient. But like most of the Afghan people, they are living in destitute. The 20 years of war and U.S. occupation have created despair. The number of Afghans living in poverty rose from 9.1 million in 2007 to 19.3 million in 2016.

A recent poll conducted by Gallup found that Afghans are the saddest people on Earth, with nearly nine in ten respondents “suffering” and zero percent of the population “thriving,” in their own words. When asked to rate their lives out of a score of ten, Afghans gave an average answer of 2.7, a record low for any country studied. Worse still, when asked to predict the quality of their life in five years, the mean answer was even lower: 2.3. :eek::eek:

If true that meant there actually were 50,000 actual troops in ANA, 30,000 LESS than Taliban.

The amount of corruption happening in the Afghan National Government before the fall was mindboggling.
