Man, the Jai Hinds will surely take this as another "proof" that their Modi is delivering them into the Supapowah status while actually depriving their country of actual economic growth to sustain their Supapowah delusions. But good for Ole talbot to yak up his delusional rant, Jai Hind mental gymnastics is quite infectious.

I don't think it will go anywhere here is the sticking point and I doubt Aussie relish the flooding of the country with Indian cheap worker since it will deprive the majority of Aussie of their white privilege getting high pay for doing so so job and relaxing at Bondi beach

Negotiations between India and Australia on a Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement began in 2011 but were suspended in 2015.
India is particularly concerned about freer trade in Australian farm exports. New Delhi’s demands for less-restrictive visas for Indian workers is a major sticking point for Australia.

Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison and his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi last year upgraded the bilateral relationship with a raft of agreements that strengthened defence ties and committed both nations to expanding trade.
Abbott visited India last week to “propel our economic relationship to its full potential, to the mutual benefit of the Indian and Australian people”, Australia’s high commissioner to India, Barry O’Farrell, said in a statement.

GT Voice: India no cure for Australia’s trade woes
By Global TimesPublished: Aug 09, 2021 07:58 PM

While there is indeed a strong political will to push the two sides to strengthen economic and trade cooperation, it is worth noting that the cooperation in Indians' minds may not be the same thing as that envisioned by Australia when it comes to specifics. India has a long history of pursuing highly protectionist economic policies, sealing off its domestic industries and companies, so it is likely looking forward to selling more products to Australia but not necessarily buying more. That's the fundamental reason why talks between India and Australia on a Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement which started in 2011 have gone nowhere.

Take agriculture as an example. Australia is a major exporter of agricultural products, while India is also known for its protection of its own domestic agricultural industry. One of the main reasons India rejected the chance to join the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership was to protect its farmers' interests as it feared that the inflows of agricultural products from Australia and New Zealand would be devastating for its agriculture sector, which accounts for about 60 percent of India's working population.

Last but not least, is India really the answer to China-Australia trade tensions? Raw numbers bear out the facts. Australia's exports to China reached about $731 billion in 2020, achieving a record trade surplus of $55.47, while two-way goods and service trade between Australia and India was $24.4 billion during the same period

There’s certainly talk and desire for closer Anglo Indian cooperation the way pigs yearn to fly but reality presents a different story:
Who in cow worshipping India is going to eat Australian beef and cows?
Who in sizeable Muslim demographic India is going to drink Australian wine?
Who in white supremacist Australia is going to put up with Indians moving en masse to continue occupying middle management positions and giving jobs to their cousins’ cousins’ cousins?
Not to mention India and Australia already export iron ore to China.

tony Abbott and the white Anglo ruling class he represents is anxious over China shutting Australia out of Asian trade which will spell doom for Australian living standards; we’re already in an extended lockdown in over half the country due tk covid with the budget in deficit

This is the population density map of India and it actually illustrates one of the principal reasons why China became the manufacturing hub instead of India. Most of the population of India lives in land-locked areas that are far away from trade routes and even the sea. This requires India to build a lot more infrastructure than otherwise needed for the transportation of goods. Even then the land transportation with trucks and trains is a lot more expensive than maritime transportation. Even after that, the ships would need to sail more than usual because India's population centers are not close to trade routes. Compare this with China and then look at the global trade routes.

This is extremely problematic for India because it makes them a lot less competitive in the fastest way to development for poor countries, manufacturing for developed countries. Even a few cents make the success between failure and success in cheap products like t-shirts and cheap plastic products. If you are a developed country like Germany who sells Porsches and Mercedeses and MRI machines this is not a problem. For plastic toys and cheap t-shirts? Huge problem...

He was the Prime Minister that signed the free trade deal with China, and now says he wouldn't sign one now.
Back then, the Anglos hadn't yet gone full Racial Holy War against China and assumed that China's Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank would fail against the World Bank and IMF, despite the racial holy warriors in obama's admin. wanting to kill it.

Even back when the BRI was being touted, the anglos were ambivalent and even supportive of it; the state of Victoria signed contracts onto the BRI until it was torn up by the current Australian Government because the australian elite are All In on the Bannonite Racial Holy War.

Now, the anglos fear their supremacy is threatened with the rise of China simply because Chinese science and intellect is evidently superior to anglo practice which require bombing other nations and forcing the elites and best and brightest to migrate to the anglosphere, and that Chinese weapons can turn the anglosphere into Tartarus.
