Anyone who uses the term "han chauvinist" or "han nationalist" is at heart a white supremacist, projecting their own racial insecurities onto China, a nation which actually granted refuge to the jews and mandates recognition of 56 ethnicities and culture and language.

To date, none of the Anglos have even recognised minority language, and the quebecois french don't count since they are the diet pepsi french to the anglos.

Oh jeez a Sydney mayor literally said we not gonna celebrate Chinese New Year in Sydney because it 'does not come from Western tradition'. “Australia Day, Anzac Day, Easter and Christmas are exceptions as they are significantly part of this country’s traditions and Western culture.”

What about holidays celebrating Indigenous Australian culture.....?

I don’t doubt there are Han nationalists. I used to be one wanting a separate Han homeland where we can wear Hanfu everyday and make historical TV shows without fearing depicting actual history might offend minorities. I don’t anymore but some people still do.

There are definitely people on the Chinese Internet that act in ways that could be characterised as Han supremacist. I saw one such sad person blasting a news story about a county party secretary chairing a meeting simply because the party secretary is a Uyghur in charge of a county in the Han heartland. Not sure if they are real Chinese or FLG bots trying to sow discord.

No doubt as China-Australia trade war becomes more intense, the anti Chinese feeling intensifies among the White majority.

They are no longer putting on their masks and are making use of every opportunity possible to bash Chinese people or the culture. If there are incidences involving ethnic Chinese, the media will be tempted cover it as if is a major incidence. Many of the gullible ones would call for them to be sent back to China for being un-Australian.

Sorry guys. More BBC BS exposed. This time GT mentioned the creep John Sudworth a number of time. The so called impartial BBC, that's not controlled by the British government our friend from the A-Team keeps telling us!

I believe they tried that in the Song dynasty. You know how that turned out.

BBC reporter John Sudworth again tried to defend himself after Zhao Lijian called him out. His defense consisted of twisting everything verbally and linguistically. Just watch the report.

@Gatekeeper

The other BBC reporter Stephen McDonnell is prone to making mistakes. I've dug up so much dirt in just the last hour.

Another malicious deception from the BBC reporter.
BBC is a propagandist projection media, not serious and responsible journalism.

He was describing the scene as "In the harsh enforcement of its' (China's) lockdown."
When caught red handed with his fakery where he describe a law enforcement exercise as actual harsh enforcement of its' (China's) lockdown, he goes on a mental gymnastic style deception where he's now saying on twitter that it was shown as a drill (more fakery here).

@siege He is clearly being malicious and deceptive to project his propagandist agenda. NOT TO INFORM as responsible journalist do.

This is the same type of mental gymnastic projection we see from our very own Mr, T.
