The ICJ posted a notice on its website clarifying PCA isn't part of the UN organization, directly contracting most western government officials, surrogates, and media accounts in the public arena. I'm surprised at the speed ICJ rushed to distance itself from the PCA opinion paper.

The International Court of Justice (ICJ) wishes to draw the attention of the media and the public to the fact that the Award in the South China Sea Arbitration (The Republic of the Philippines v. The People’s Republic of China) was issued by an Arbitral Tribunal acting with the secretarial assistance of the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA). ). The ICJ, which is a totally distinct institution, has had no involvement in the above mentioned case and, for that reason, there is no information about it on the ICJ’s website.

Latest reports have the number of dead at over 60 now, with reports the driver was shot dead by police after driving 1.2km through crowds. I fear that number will almost certainly climb further.

From the raw footage of the aftermath that I have seen (please take my word that you do NOT want to see that for yourselves), there is no doubt that this was a terrorist attack.

There is almost no way to defend against these kinds of attacks, roads lead everywhere, and almost anyone could own a car.

I don't know what our world has turned into but violence are everywhere, the United States, France and even in Cambodia.

Just one guy with a truck is all it takes to cause this kind of carnage. Governments need to start deploying draconic security measures at any events with a large crowd. Extremist ideology needs to be banned and censored on the internet. Most importantly, they need to stop playing with fire and take the ISIS threat seriously!

Extremist ideology came from religious freaks who couldn't accept the world will always be different and not following their kind of belief of god.

The question athat keeps coming back to me is, why always France?

If you ever wondered why US Police is so 'brutal' for (mainly black) the citizens here's a good view from their perspective.

As far as death toll attribute to one individual goes, you can bet the islamic terrorist circle will repackage him as "a legend" soon enough.

it's very scary to me, as I used to wait for trams close to some square in Prague where in the past a (female!) murderer ran into crowd with the intent to kill as many people as possible using one truck! (she killed eight; was hanged ... let me see: March 12, 1975)
