Q: Yesterday during the Philippine President’s visit to Japan, the two countries issued a joint statement announcing the start of talks on the delimitation of exclusive economic zone and continental shelf between Japan and the Philippines. What’s China’s comment?

Mao Ning: The area the two countries announced they will delimit is east of China’s Taiwan island. According to China’s domestic law and international law including UNCLOS, China has exclusive economic zone and continental shelf in this area. Japan and the Philippines’ so-called maritime delimitation talks constitute a severe violation of China’s maritime rights and interests, UNCLOS and other international law and basic norms governing international relations. China strongly deplores and firmly opposes that and has lodged serious protests with both countries.

The so-called delimitation talks are completely illegal, null and void, and will have no effect on China’s claims to rights in the area east of the Taiwan island or exercise of China’s lawful rights. China urges Japan and the Philippines to immediately stop any violation of China’s maritime rights and interests and take concrete actions to uphold regional peace and stability.

The movie's opening, originally scheduled for tomorrow has been cancelled by the distributor yesterday.

So either:
1. China is authoritarian and rules with an iron fist, yet somehow makes woke feminist movies
or
2. China actually listens to the people when they complain a movie is in contempt of justice and have it pulled

Logic dictates it can't be both
Bet your ass the US government would never in a million years let a movie about Vincent Chin be made. There have been multiple attempts over the last few decades to get a project going but mysteriously they have all failed in some way or another...

Russia, please please please do the funniest thing ever!

So now you can be denied financial services for your political views. And who runs the banks…? The irony is Visa and Mastercard was being pressured by the left to deny services to Japanese gaming companies over not conforming to Western DEI policies. Nothing wrong with that… And they want to enter the Chinese market…

It isn’t western DEI police but right wing religious Christian policy. The first move was on adult sites, which no one really cared because it’s adult content. Then fictional adult content got blacklisted. Now the lobbying is moving to censoring and banning mature content such as Grand Theft Auto 6 for being too violent and sexual. Unsurprisingly, they are moving ahead with trying to debank individuals with the incorrect political view, which in this case is right wing policy until the Dems come into power. US Elites basically enforcing their “cultural” (of the ruling party) and political views by force now.

Japan is learning. Royal Kingdoms were hanging out Zelensky they also increased interaction with EU and NATO. They quickly found out Germans will swallow anything as long as they do this ceremonial work. They are creating New Europe by studying old Europe.
Japan seems to return to its previous role of Junior Partner because too many Saudi interaction with Japan recently.
