Overpaid Clown Think Tank Stooge doesn't understand a week a month doesn't matter, there is not deterrence here, China is in their continental size country with clear objectives while the US is in far off bases and boats. The US would have to do build up so big in Asia that inevitable outcome will be war and not deterrence.
They are following the greater Arabic soft power. Iran neither has soft power nor competence so Arabic Soft Power may even prefer to keep this system in place but more in weaken state.
The only loss is to UAE since built there economy around Iran and India which only happened due to previous Saudi leadership. Saudi never had any intention of giving any importance to this small states. The only intervene to to save Bahrain.
