Using inexperienced negotiators indicate the US wasn't taking it seriously to begin with. They just wanted a full surrender, and when they didn't get that, they pushed the button. It's that simple.

Contrast it with them sending Lighthizer and their toughest, most seasoned negotiators during Trump's first trade war vs. China. That was an actual negotiation to secure a beneficial deal. This wasn't.

That is what someone said, a woman, in a nightclub, in Shanghai, I read in the newspaper 30 years ago.

Back then, things were improving, and everything was getting better, including the club scene, excreta, where people wanted to go there, who wanted to be seen.

That anonymous Shanghai young woman, all she said was that Chinese can be coolest people in the world. She meant, that the Chinese will be the coolest people in the world, in Shanghai 30 years ago.

I always wondered if that could be true? Some of us, not interested in that type of philosophical inquiry, to put it mildly, but seems like we have an answer.

That is why Gu Ailing choose China, because it is so cool.

Citizens of the country recognized as the strongest in the world will be the coolest people in the world, so we are ramping up for Chinese people to become the coolest people the world. Chinamaxxing, Chinese time in my life, "Chineser," we're just starting up because China's at the cusp of overtaking the US. It's just that simple.

That said, Shanghai's known as the most foreign-worshipping trash city in China; that a young lady at a nightclub in Shanghai 30 years ago thought that is absolutely so amazing it's hard to believe.

Between the ongoing literal starvation of Cuba, the abduction of tankers and the leader in Venezuela for oil, killing schoolgirls in Iran, and the destabilization of Mexico, they are rapidly burning every bridge in their own hemisphere and beyond.

They are trading long-term stability for short-term optics, and they're creating a permanent, hostile environment in their own backyard.

Nothing shows and proves US rot and decline more than Trump and all the debacles it has involved itself in during recent years.

Failure to defeat Russia.

Failure to win trade war 1 against China and failure to even find the courage to start trade war 2 against China. Trade war 2 initiation from USA still resulted in this even after they backed down:

Going from strength to strength in all tech fields and leading all renewables, energy storage, robotics, supercomputing, quantum computing, neck and neck on generative AI (better in video generation), dominating car exports, cementing ship building to over 80% global orders from just 50% years ago. The list is honestly pages long but you get the picture.

Meanwhile over at ol USA, a bunch of kid fuckers exposing how intellectually deficient they are for the elites they are supposed to be. More talent in wielding knife and forks than pen and paper and certainly no ability to wield weapons it seems.

USA now betting all on pathetic LLMs and in a hurry to produce more data centres to drain their water and energy resources faster just so they can generate more AI porn. It's all very amazingly poetic. There is certainly a maker and the dramatic tragedy+comedy that is the demise of the US shows the maker of this whole construct we exit in most certainly has great humour.

Many lessons for the keen and observant. Not just of politics and human affairs but the very nature of all things.
