They were cooperating with china in another financial system to be a replacement for swift, and i think china sees the dangers but it doesn't close the doors for some cooperation in a lot of opportunities.
But when things get rough, UAE won't stand with china, their model depends of US hegemony in the middle east and US protection, and they cooperate with israel to be US's hands in the area.
Nations like Egypt which sees Israel as an enemy and an existential threat is way more a trusted partner, but they should show their seriousness and prove it by taking actual steps.
It's weird how we're taking UAE's purchase of J-35AE more seriously because they can put money at the table, but we can't do the same for Egypt as they can't and don't have the foundations to take that step yet. A lot of lost potential in that area, which we can see in other nations as well.
Soft Power is already transferred to Saudis. Saudis with enhanced Soft Power are more effective.
UAE Soft Power is converting worthless Indian rupees into Hard Power. and that put European leaders in uncomfortable situation when importing Indians.
there is another angle of Education/Science which UAE Plays key role. Rostec already compared ranking of universities to Olympic medals which is filth for certain people.
Putin went to a school that was video conferenced to similar school in Abu Dhabi together with UAE leader. This laying foundation of Soft Power into non muslim side of education. this is what they are after. I dont think Russians trust Belarussian in weopons side. but eventually this Soft Power in education will converted into Hard Power that will meet Royal Standards. Soft Power is dynamic.

What difference a year makes… You had those spazdic H1s dancing to what we see in this today… Are the usual suspects going to claim this all CG or AI. They’re still bragging about Atlas doing a flip while breaking off pieces. Then because of Seedance 2.0 they’re pointing out the flaws like that’s the furthest it’ll ever go. Atlas doesn’t have hands that replicate exactly a human’s but the spin at CES was that was Boston Dynamic’s uniqueness on display. And like US artificial intelligence they think replicating human intelligence is the only point, China is making all the money applying it in everyday applications and that’s why China is winning. It’s like semiconductors where they think they need the top chips to be applied to everything. You don’t need the top chips to operate a toaster but they think you do to be ahead. They thought China would be relegated to just legacy chips and then their whole auto industry is held hostage because of these simple chips.
It’s funny how they say they’re ahead in tech yet they cannot do more that China has done with lesser tech. Unitree should rename the H1s the Alex Karp.
