Even if we ignore important field commanders and other community figures who caused trouble for Japan like Wang Mingdao (and like it or not, all the KMT diplomatic figures who helped to get assistance from abroad), there are still the anti-Japanese leaders praised by the CCP like Feng Yuxiang, Wu Yaozong, Li Dequan and Song Qingling. That is far more than those affliated with the collaborationist government.
Not really because even if they didn't collaberate with Japan they still aligned themselves with the West which stabbed China in the back literally multiple times especially before and after WW2 (Hence why I mentioned foreign missionaries). That was the purpose of Jiang baptisim which was try to be seen as an equal by becomming Christian but that didn't stop the west from silently supporting Japan until Japan attacked Indochina. The people you mentioned that were praised by CCP were just the exception.
