That's exaggerating surely. Even if we ignore important field commanders and other community figures who caused trouble for Japan like Wang Mingdao (and like it or not, all the KMT diplomatic figures who helped to get assistance from abroad), there are still the anti-Japanese leaders praised by the CCP like Feng Yuxiang, Wu Yaozong, Li Dequan and Song Qingling. That is far more than those affliated with the collaborationist government.I mean it has been that way with Myanmar and to some extant the Japanese invasion because Christians largely collaberated with Japan whether it was foreigners collaberating or to some extent Jiang Jieshi. Buddhist on the other hand have remaind faithful to China this whole time.
